I have work experience in reporting, documentary filmmaking, photography, news and data research, and AP Style writing. Prior to joining the Springfield Daily Citizen, I worked as a news reporter for The Standard, Missouri State University’s student-run paper, and the producer and social media manager of All of a Sudden, a docu-series by Carbon Trace Productions. I am also experienced with Adobe, Apple, Canon, and Microsoft products and software.

My interest in journalism developed in my latter years of high school, and became more established after enrolling at Missouri State. My skills, passions and experience vary widely, but they overlap most in government and politics, supplemented by my education in political science. My commitment to producing impartial and well-researched content remain across all facets my young career in media.
